Tip your hat to springtime in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy hosted their 8th annual Spring Hat Luncheon on May 6th at… Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy hosted their 8th annual Spring Hat Luncheon on May 6th at Schenley Plaza. The event featured colorful hats and other springtime garments worn by those in attendance. Gov. Ed Rendell spoke at the event. The new park, whcih used to be a cement lot, now provides a grass filled landscape and a carousel. The grand opening of the Plaza is scheduled for June. Attractions will include a carousel, vendors and a dining areas and wireless internet access.
