3:04 p.m. — A woman reported the theft of an iPod from her… Friday, April 7

3:04 p.m. — A woman reported the theft of an iPod from her car in the Physicians parking lot.

3:18 p.m. — Someone reported an incident of harassment on Joncaire Street. An investigation is pending.

3:49 p.m. — An officer took a report of an accident involving a University vehicle at the intersection of Centre Avenue and North Craig Street.

4:09 p.m. — A man in Litchfield Towers reported the theft of his iPod.

4:17 p.m. — Plainclothes officers checked on a person who was checking vehicles in the area around Bayard and Craig streets. The incident was cleared.

4:26 p.m. — Police arrested non-affiliate Harold Shields, of Braddock, Pa., for theft and trespassing in the Posvar Hall garage.

5:09 p.m. — Officers assisted city police in responding to people who were spray painting a building at the corner of Morewood and South Millvale avenues.

5:37 p.m. — Non-affiliates Mark Jones, of 1088 Fisher St., and Othelia Finn, of 1111 Faulkner St., were arrested for theft and conspiracy in Benedum Hall.

Saturday, April 8

12:33 a.m. — Student Richard William Noble, of the Pi Kappa Alpha house, was cited in the house for underage drinking.

12:44 a.m. — Police cited students Edward Altvater, James Buckley, Joseph Burns, Nicholas Depasquale and Christopher Powers, all of Forbes Hall, and Kevin Cesa, of Brackenridge Hall, for underage drinking in Forbes Hall.

12:47 a.m. — Student James B. Arbore, of Pennsylvania Hall, was cited in the Delta Tau Delta house for underage drinking.

12:47 a.m. — Student Jessica A. Brister, of Brackenridge Hall, and a juvenile were cited in the Delta Tau Delta house for underage drinking.

1:10 a.m. — Non-student Michael Rambo, of Jim Thorpe, Pa., and a juvenile were cited for disorderly conduct in the Zeta Beta Tau house.

1:43 a.m. — Police cited student Corey Faddish, of 3034 Iowa St., for disorderly conduct near the Phi Kappa Theta house. Police also cited non-affiliate Ryan Hatch, of 3629 Child St., near the house.

1:49 a.m. — Student Matthew S. Abdelbak, of Litchfield Tower A, was cited for underage drinking in Litchfield Towers.

2 a.m. — Student Hans Spencer Lorei, of Litchfield Tower C, was cited on the corner of Bates and Bouquet streets for underage drinking.

4:28 a.m. — An officer assisted city police with a reported robbery in the 300 block of McKee Place.

8:22 a.m. — Someone in the Plum Research Facility reported receiving harassing phone calls. An investigation is pending.

9:49 a.m. — Officers assisted UPMC security with a disorderly patient.

3:44 p.m. — Officers monitored a protest in the 3700 block of Forbes Avenue.

6:13 p.m. — A woman in Trees Hall reported the theft of her cell phone.

9:31 p.m. — An officer confiscated a suspended license and cited the driver at the intersection of Bellefield and Fifth avenues.

11:28 p.m. — Non-affiliate Fred Lee Harris, of no fixed address, was cited for defiant trespass in Litchfield Towers.

Sunday, April 9

12:49 a.m. — An officer took a report of a minor accident involving a University vehicle.

12:56 a.m. — Student Kathryn M. Stocking, of Litchfield Towers, was cited for underage drinking in the Delta Taut Delta house.

1:31 a.m. — Student Peter A. Cheney, of Sutherland Hall, was cited in Litchfield Tower A for underage drinking.

1:57 a.m. — Officers assisted city police in responding to a reported assault on Smallman Street in the Strip District.

2:05 a.m. — Someone reported being assaulted on the sidewalk in front of Sutherland Hall. An investigation is pending.

10:07 a.m. — A faculty member reported being the victim of identity theft. An investigation is pending.

9:34 p.m. — Officers assisted the North Strabane Police Department with a missing-person incident. The missing person was last seen in Oakland. The incident was cleared.

Monday, April 10

1:03 p.m. — Someone reported the theft of a wallet off campus.

2:41 p.m. — Officers assisted city police with a theft of a purse on Atwood Street.

3:53 p.m. — Someone reported being harassed by a known individual in front of Holland Hall on March 30. An investigation is pending.

5:03 p.m. — A University shuttle hit a vehicle at the intersection of Forbes and Morewood avenues.

6:11 p.m. — Non-student Timothy Antoszewski, of 6913 Greenwood St., was cited for defiant trespass in David Lawrence Hall.

6:39 p.m. — A man reported that $3 was taken from him at the racquetball courts in Trees Hall.

7:29 p.m. — Officers removed the American flag from outside the Cathedral of Learning because it was too worn to be flown.

10:07 p.m. — Police responded to a report of the smell of marijuana in Lothrop Hall. The person who possessed the marijuana — which was a small amount — was sent to the judicial board.

Tuesday, April 11

8:13 a.m. — An officer cited and towed a car that was parked in the loading dock of Ruskin Hall.

2:44 p.m. — Non-affilitate Darryl Patterson, of no fixed address, was arrested on an outstanding county warrant.

8:48 p.m. — A woman reported the theft of her purse at an unknown location on the South Side.

9:36 p.m. — A resident director in Sutherland Hall reported suspicious activity in the building. An investigation is pending.

8:32 a.m. — Officers assisted the Secret Service with a report of a counterfeit bill that was submitted to the University.

12:32 p.m. — A woman reported receiving harassing phone calls at her off-campus residence. An investigation is pending.

1:57 p.m. — Non-affiliate William Longo, of 17 Slate St., was arrested for theft from an auto on Schenley Drive near Phipps Conservatory.

2:09 p.m. — Someone in the Cathedral of Learning reported the theft of a departmental computer. An investigation is pending.

11:32 p.m. — Someone found a suspicious letter near Bouquet Gardens that was addressed to the police. An investigation is pending.
