9:59 a.m. – A woman in Bouquet Gardens reported the burglary… Friday, March 17

9:59 a.m. – A woman in Bouquet Gardens reported the burglary of her apartment. An investigation is pending.

3:37 p.m. – Someone reported being cut by a piece of metal that was hanging from an escalator in the Petersen Events Center. The person refused medical assistance. An engineer was notified to remove the metal.

7:39 p.m. – A fire alarm in Litchfield Tower A was activated by a defective smoke detector.

8:42 p.m. – Someone reported seeing a small child pull an alarm box in the William Pitt Union.

9:49 p.m. – Police arrested nonaffiliate Kenneth J. McConeghy, of 630 Broadway Ave., on an outstanding warrant.

10:42 p.m. – A judicial board referral is being filed for possession of a small amount of marijuana in Sutherland Hall.

11:24 p.m. – An officer assisted city police and the Pittsburgh Fire Department in extinguishing a couch fire in the 200 block of Meyran Avenue.

Saturday, March 18

12:18 a.m. – Student Ross Lannan, of Hatfield, Pa., was arrested for aggravated assault at the intersection of Bates and Semple streets.

12:34 a.m. – Police cited student Derrick McBride, of Lothrop Hall, for underage drinking in Lothrop Hall.

10:48 a.m. – Officers assisted city police and other agencies in monitoring a demonstration in the 3700 block of Forbes Avenue.

1:24 p.m. – A woman in the William Pitt Union reported the theft of her purse.

Sunday, March 19

12:47 a.m. – Student Lauren E. Lewis, of Litchfield Towers, was cited for underage drinking in Tower A.

1:28 a.m. – Officers assisted city police in responding to a fight at the Holiday Inn on Lytton Avenue. The incident was cleared.

1:31 a.m. – Police cited student Shea Kimberly Arbogast, of Holland Hall, for underage drinking near the Q parking lot, at the intersection of Sennott Street and Oakland Avenue.

3:16 a.m. – Student Megan K. Maxwell, of Sutherland Hall, was cited for underage drinking in Sutherland Hall.

11:54 a.m. – A woman in Hillman Library reported the loss of her iPod.

4:43 p.m. – Officers assisted two students in an attempt to check on the welfare of another student, who was somewhere on the 3600 block of Forbes Avenue.

5:09 p.m. – A man reported that his bookbag was stolen from the lawn area of the Cathedral of Learning.

6:39 p.m. – An officer cited a driver and towed the driver’s car from the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard because the driver was driving with an expired registration.

Monday, March 20

12:34 a.m. – A man reported finding damage to his car in the U parking lot.
