6:59 p.m. – Officers responded to a fire alarm in Holland Hall. The alarm turned out to be a false activation.

1:59 a.m. – Student Alison Conway, of Exeter, N.H., was cited in Sutherland Hall for underage drinking.
2 a.m. – Student Kayla Jean Younge, of Elizabeth, Pa., was cited in Litchfield Tower B for underage drinking.
2:24 a.m. – Police cited student George L. Hilf III, of Ligonier, Pa., for underage drinking in Forbes Hall.
11:37 a.m. – A man reported that his laptop was taken during a burglary of his apartment in Bouquet Gardens. An investigation is pending.
11:53 a.m. – A man reported that jewelry was taken during a burglary of his apartment in Bouquet Gardens. An investigation is pending.

3:17 p.m. – A man reported that a group of unknown people dumped a garbage can full of water in his apartment.
5:24 p.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Domonique Amar Shields, of Johnstown, Pa., for simple assault and harassment in Holland Hall.
5:48 p.m. – A woman reported that her wallet and car keys were stolen from her purse in the William Pitt Union.
6:14 p.m. – Officers responded to a fire alarm in Bouquet Gardens. The alarm was found to be false alarm.

2:03 a.m. – A resident assistant in Sutherland Hall reported the smell and smoke of marijuana. Officers responded and spoke with the occupants of the room. Judicial board papers will be filed.
3:27 a.m. – A woman in Bouquet Gardens reported that her roommates were harassing her and keeping her awake. Officers spoke with everyone who was involved.
7:52 a.m. – Officers discovered an open window in Bouquet Gardens. After checking the area, the officers secured the window.
3:46 p.m. – A woman reported that her purse was stolen at the Sigma Phi Epsilon house. An investigation is pending.
4:24 p.m. –A man reported that his wallet and cell phone were stolen from at the Sigma Phi Epsilon house. An investigation is pending.
5:18 p.m. – A man reported that his wallet was stolen from Hillman Library.
6:32 p.m. – Officers responded to a request to check on the welfare of a student in Lothrop Hall. The student was found to be fine.
10:55 p.m. – A woman reported that her iPod was stolen when her room in Lothrop Hall was burglarized. An investigation is pending.
Monday, Feb. 20
2:18 a.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Terry Leslie, of Altoona, Pa., for defiant trespass in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital.
9:47 a.m. – A custodian in the Cathedral of Learning reported a theft from a restroom vending machine.
11:01 a.m. – Someone reported the theft of microwave ovens from Biomedical Science Tower 3. An investigation is pending.
12:18 p.m. – A man reported the theft of his laundry from Litchfield Towers.
12:46 p.m. – Someone in the William Pitt Union reported receiving harassing phone calls.
3:15 p.m. – Officers assisted city police in responding to a report of shots fired in the area around Aliquippa and Ellers streets.

3:23 p.m. – Police arrested affiliate Denise Thrower, of 239 Yosemite Drive, on an outstanding county warrant at the intersection of Craig Street and Fifth Avenue.
3:40 p.m. – Someone reported a minor auto accident involving University vehicles in the loading dock of Posvar Hall.
4:47 p.m. – A woman reported that her wallet was stolen from Centre Plaza Apartments.
5:08 p.m. – Officers assisted city police in responding to a report that there was a man with a gun at the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Bouquet Street. The man did not have a gun.
6:50 p.m. – Police cited a driver and towed the driver’s vehicle from the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard because the driver’s license was suspended.
