Kevan Barlow, RB, San Francisco 49ers, 1997-2000 – Barlow rushed 14 times for 40 yards and a touchdown and also caught four passes for 17 yards, but it wasn’t enough as the 49ers fell to the Titans, 33-22.

Torrie Cox, DB/KR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1999-2002 – Cox played, but the Buccaneers lost to the Bears 13-10. The win was Chicago’s seventh in a row.

Larry Fitzgerald, WR, Arizona Cardinals, 2002-2003 – Four catches for 41 yards equaled an off week for Fitzgerald, but he did reach the end zone on a five-yard pass from quarterback Kurt Warner. It was only the third time in the last eight games that Fitzgerald was held under 100 yards as the Cardinals lost to the Jacksonville, 24-17.

Nick Goings, RB, Carolina Panthers, 1999-2000 – Goings rushed for nine yards on two carries as the Panthers defeated Buffalo, 13-9.

Andy Lee, P, San Francisco 49ers, 2000-2003 – Lee punted eight times – his longest a 52-yarder – with an average of 44.6 yards per punt.

Curtis Martin, RB, NY Jets, 1991-1993 – Martin was unable to reach the end zone as the Jets lost to New Orleans, 21-19. However, 91 yards on 24 carries did put the 11-year NFL veteran over the 14,000 yards rushing mark in his career, making him only the fourth player to do so. With 706 yards on the season, Martin has five games to become the first player to rush for over 1,000 yards in each of his 11 seasons.

Rob Petitti, OL, Dallas Cowboys, 2001-2004 – Petitti helped the Cowboys rush for 144 yards, but his line also allowed quarterback Drew Bledsoe to be sacked twice.

Lousaka Polite, RB, Dallas Cowboys, 2000-2003 – Polite caught one pass for eight yards as the Cowboys lost in overtime to the Broncos, 24-21.

Hank Poteat, DB, New England Patriots, 1996-1999 – Poteat saw action but was unable to help the Patriots beat the Chiefs as New England lost. 26-16

Shawntae Spencer, DB, San Francisco 49ers, 2000-2003 – Midway through the second quarter, Spencer intercepted Titans quarterback Steve McNair and returned it 61 yards for a touchdown – the first of his career – giving the 49ers a 14-9 lead that ultimately wouldn’t stand.
