Thursday, Oct. 13

12:53 p.m. – A guard in Biomedical Science Tower 3… Thursday, Oct. 13

12:53 p.m. – A guard in Biomedical Science Tower 3 reported a small water leak that did some damage to the ceiling tiles.

3:12 p.m. – A man reported that his wallet was stolen from Litchfield Tower B. The wallet was later found and the incident was cleared.

6:09 p.m. – A security alarm in Thackeray Hall was activated. The area was found to be secure.

6:42 p.m. – Officers transported an injured woman from the Petersen Events Center to a hospital.

8:12 p.m. – Police discovered unauthorized people in Trees Hall. The people were escorted out of the building. No arrests were made.

Friday, Oct. 14

12:32 a.m. – An officer arrested student Kelly McConnell, of Wexford, Pa., for underage drinking near the Law School.

12:56 a.m. – Police arrested student Kelly Hont, of 1554 Hawthorne St., for underage drinking near the Law School.

1:15 a.m. – An officer found an open door at Thackeray Hall. The incident was cleared.

2:10 a.m. – Non-affiliate Jennifer Bentley, of Lake Oswego, Ore., was cited for driving under the influence at the intersection of Forbes and Morewood avenues.

3:20 p.m. – A man reported that his wallet was stolen from a location on Neville Street. An investigation is pending.

4:49 p.m. – Officers discovered that the doors to Bellefield Hall were in need of repair.

5:04 p.m. – A woman was injured when she struck an open car door while riding her bicycle on Craig Street. Police transported her to the emergency room.

6:41 p.m. – Officers found a laptop computer on Roberto Clemente Drive. The computer was placed in evidence.

11:03 p.m. – Police cited students Sandra Pasternak and Nina O’Connell, of Sutherland Hall, for underage drinking in Sutherland Hall.

Saturday, Oct. 15

12:42 a.m. – An officer cited non-affiliate Steven James Galko, of Clarks Summit, Pa., and student Conor Patrick Foley, of Sutherland Hall, for underage drinking in Bruce Hall.

12:50 a.m. – Student Darby M. Weaver, of Holland Hall, was cited for underage drinking in Holland Hall.

1:01 a.m. – Police arrested a juvenile for underage drinking in Litchfield Tower A.

1:55 a.m. – Student Anthony W. Bugno, of 312 McKee Place, was cited for disorderly conduct near the Law School.

2:28 a.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Eric Snyder, of 6811 Hilldale Drive, for driving under the influence near Lothrop Hall.

10 a.m. – Police towed a vehicle that was parked in a No Parking area on Bigelow Boulevard.

12:38 p.m. – A woman reported that her vehicle was damaged while parked in the garage at Centre Plaza Apartments.

1:56 p.m. – A man who had taken ill was transported by Pittsburgh Medics from the William Pitt Union to the hospital.

3:42 p.m. – A man who hurt his leg in Trees Hall was transported to a hospital.

4:15 p.m. – Someone reported being harassed by a known person in Lothrop Hall. The incident was cleared.

5:46 p.m. – A fire alarm was activated at the Sigma Phi Epsilon house. The incident was cleared.

Sunday, Oct. 16

12:08 a.m. – An officer confiscated a suspended driver’s license from an individual during a traffic stop at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and University Place.

12:15 a.m. – A man reported that he was assaulted by a person on the corner of Fifth and Ruskin avenues. Police stopped the man who committed the alleged assault. The incident was referred to the district magistrate.

1:31 a.m. – University affiliate Shaun Patrick Gobbel, of Washington, Pa., was arrested for providing false information to law enforcement near Hillman Library.

2:04 a.m. – Students Matthew A. Foreman, of Ambler, Pa., and Matthew Earl Pierce, of 494 New Texas Road, were cited for disorderly conduct on the corner of Sennott Square and Oakland Avenue.

8:57 p.m. – Someone reported the theft of a bicycle from in front of Clapp Hall.

Monday, Oct. 17

12:12 a.m. – Several vehicles were towed from a construction area on Roberto Clemente Drive.

12:39 a.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Demetrious Jones, of Ambridge, Pa., and a juvenile for possession of a stolen vehicle at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and South Bouquet Street.

2:07 a.m. – A water leak in Posvar Hall caused some damage.

10 a.m. – A student reported the smell of smoke in Sutherland Hall. Officers discovered burnt food. The incident was cleared.

11:23 a.m. – A man reported that his iPod was stolen from the Petersen Events Center.

4:01 p.m. – A woman in Allen Hall reported receiving a suspicious letter. Police took the letter for evidence. An investigation is pending.

4:13 p.m. – Officers recovered a stolen vehicle. An investigation is pending.

5:54 p.m. – A man reported that his wallet was stolen from the Petersen Events Center. An investigation is pending.

9:41 p.m. – Someone reported a suspicious person in Hillman Library. Police checked the area and found it to be secure.

Tuesday, Oct. 18

1:35 a.m. – Student Gregory Owens, of 222 S. Pacific Ave., was arrested for driving under the influence at the intersection of Sennott Square and Meyran Avenue.

8:56 a.m. – Someone in the Cathedral of Learning reported receiving a harassing phone call from an unknown person. An investigation is pending.

8:06 p.m. – Officers assisted city police in handling a robbery, in which a weapon may have been involved, that took place at the intersection of Terrace and Darragh streets. City police are investigating the incident.

Wednesday, Oct. 19

10:46 a.m. – A woman reported that someone jumped on the roof of her car while it was in the University Drive parking lot. The unknown person caused extensive damage to the woman’s car. An investigation is pending.

11:59 a.m. – A woman reported that her wallet was stolen from Sennott Square.

3:12 p.m. – A woman reported that her purse was stolen from Posvar Hall.
