11:22 a.m. – Someone stole a stool and a picture from the Cathedral of Learning.

12:22 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with an assault between the 3900 and 3500 blocks of Forbes Avenue.

3:56 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a report of a stolen bike in Shadyside.

4:40 p.m. – Police assisted city police with a search in the 200 block of Robinson Street.

6:17 p.m. – Someone reported an attempted robbery in the 3500 block of Euler Way. An investigation is pending.

Saturday, Oct. 1

10:38 a.m. – Police monitored a protest in the 3700 block of Forbes Avenue.

12:13 p.m. – A woman reported the off-campus theft of her purse in the 300 block of Mckee Place.

3:49 p.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Dudley Brandt, of 3425 Beechwood Blvd., on an outstanding warrant on Schenley Drive.

8:38 p.m. – An officer confiscated a small amount of marijuana from a hospital visitor. The substance was placed in evidence for disposal.

8:52 p.m. – Police cited a juvenile for underage drinking in Lothrop Hall.

11:27 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a vehicle fire in Schenley Plaza.

Sunday, Oct. 2

2:24 a.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Darrin L. Haynes, of 5410 Kincaid St., for trespassing in the construction area at the rear of Hillman Library.

3:08 a.m. – An officer cited student Regis G. Rothrauff, III, of Verona Pa., for disorderly conduct in Bouquet Gardens.

Monday, Oct. 3

10:15 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of an unauthorized person in the Music Building and arrested non-affiliate Loretta Young, of 7207 Kedron St., on an outstanding warrant from the city police.

11:34 a.m. – A woman reported the theft of her bike from the bike rack outside Forbes Craig apartments.

12:00 p.m. – Police assisted city police with a vendor complaint at the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard.

1:03 p.m. – Officers assisted city police in a search for a person in a car who displayed a gun in the 3900 and 4000 blocks of Forbes Avenue.

3:35 p.m. – A man reported that his car was stolen from University Drive. An investigation is pending.

3:58 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a report of a disorderly person in the 200 block of Atwood Street.

4:21 p.m. – A woman reported that her purse was stolen from the Soldiers and Sailors parking lot.

6:49 p.m. – A woman reported that her bag was stolen from the Petersen Events Center.

8:12 p.m. – An officer extinguished a small fire in the mulch of a flower bed near Trees Hall.

8:23 p.m. – Members of the Pitt band scared off a person who was attempting to steal property of band members at the athletic field.

10:53 p.m. – A man fell from his bike on Clemente Drive. He suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital by a patrol car.

11:55 p.m. – Someone reported paint sprayed on an area of the carpet in room 203 of David Lawrence Hall.

Tuesday, Oct. 4

4:13 p.m. – An officer assisted city police with the recovery of a stolen car on Wilesford Avenue.

4:16 p.m. – An officer assisted city police with a reported theft from an automobile on Parkman Street.

10:47 p.m. – Police cited a driver for driving with a suspended license at Fifth Avenue and Atwood Street.

Wednesday, Oct. 5

5:47 p.m. – A man reported the theft of his bag and sport coat from Posvar Hall.

6:48 p.m. – A man reported the theft of his backpack from the William Pitt Union.

7:20 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a search for robbery suspects in the 300 block of Lawn Street.

11:00 p.m. – Police cited student Christopher Heinle, of Buffalo, N.Y., for underage drinking in Sutherland Hall.

Thursday, Oct. 6

1:40 a.m. – An officer cited a driver for driving with a suspended registration and driver’s license at the intersection of Forbes Avenue and McKee Place.

2:16 a.m. – Police arrested non-affiliate Drew Lydick, of Canonsburg, Pa., for driving under the influence at Fifth Avenue and Craig Street.
