Tuesday, June 21

5:08 p.m. — Police cited staff member Robert E. Treloar, of McDonald, Pa., for disorderly conduct.

7:46 p.m. — Non-affiliate Joseph Arthur Wessel, of 149 Monastery Ave., was cited for carrying an open container of alcohol in the 3800 block of Forbes Avenue.

10:31 p.m. — An officer responded to a noise complaint in Bruce Hall. The incident was cleared.

Wednesday, June 22

3:19 p.m. — Burnt toast in the William Pitt Union activated a fire alarm on the second floor.

3:44 p.m. — Someone in the Biomedical Science Tower reported receiving a suspicious envelope. Postal inspectors checked the envelope and found it to be harmless.

5:54 p.m. — Items were stolen from multiple rooms in Sutherland Hall.

8:09 p.m. — An object thrown from the bridge over the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue damaged a vehicle on the street. The incident was cleared.

Thursday, June 23

3:53 a.m. — An officer assisted city police with the arrest of a person who stole a car, at the corner of Forbes Avenue and McKee Place.

9:38 a.m. — Non-affiliate David Christopher Mersing, of Coraopolis, Pa., was arrested on a warrant for bond forfeiture from Allegheny County.

7:46 p.m. — Someone reported being verbally harassed while playing chess in the William Pitt Union.

9:48 p.m. — Police arrested an unidentified woman for disorderly conduct on Forbes Avenue near the 7-Eleven.

Friday, June 24

3:31 a.m. — Police cited non-affiliate Philicia Barbieri, of Washington, Pa., for underage drinking on Fifth Avenue between Lothrop Street and Meyran Avenue.

8:34 p.m. — Non-affiliate Timothy Wayne Gant, of 1337 Fifth Ave., was cited for trespassing in Sennott Square.

Saturday, June 25

1:07 a.m. — An officer assisted city police with an accident in the 200 block of Meyran Avenue.

5:22 p.m. — Two juveniles were arrested for theft on Schenley Drive near Hillman Library.

Sunday, June 26

8:58 p.m. — An officer assisted city police with an assault in the 300 block of North Neville Avenue.

Monday, June 27

12:52 p.m. — Student Dante Renzulli, of 4716 Ellsworth Ave., was arrested for receiving stolen property in the 4700 block of Ellsworth Avenue.

5:27 p.m. — Officers investigated the Chevron Science Center after someone reported that a group of juveniles were in the building.

9:11 p.m. — Police checked the Joncaire Street area for a reported domestic dispute. The incident was cleared.

10:54 p.m. — Officers assisted city police with a report of a bike theft in the 1400 block of Fifth Avenue.

Tuesday, June 28

2:05 a.m. — A fire alarm in Langley Hall was activated by dust from drilling in the garage. The incident was cleared.
