3:29 p.m. — A man reported that someone broke into his… Thursday, Feb. 3

3:29 p.m. — A man reported that someone broke into his vehicle while it was parked on University Drive. The driver’s-side window was smashed and a cell phone was taken.

7:43 p.m. — A woman reported leaving her wallet in the fifth floor women’s bathroom in Posvar Hall. When she returned, her wallet was gone. The incident was cleared.

Friday, Feb. 4

1:21 a.m. — Someone reported loud noise coming from 404 Building A of Bouquet Gardens. Officers advised non-residents to leave, and judicial board papers were filed on the resident of the room.

6:21 a.m. — Police received a report of an employee passed out in the men’s room of Hillman Library. City medics transported the person to the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital emergency room.

3:53 p.m. — A guard in the Cathedral of Learning turned over to an officer a gym bag and television, which the guard had found on the third floor.

6:21 p.m. — A man reported the theft of his bike from a Sennott Square bike rack.

7:40 p.m. — An officer assisted city police responding to an accident near the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Craig Street.

9:35 p.m. — A person in Bouquet Gardens, Building D, reported damage to the hall walls.

Saturday, Feb. 5

12:14 a.m. — Officers near the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Bouquet Street cited nonaffiliates Scott Andrew Hyland, of 1320 Rose Circle, and Dustin Christopher Charles, of 212 Kiefer Dr., for underage drinking. Nonaffiliate Andrew Zachary Stutzman, of 2348 Weston Dr., was arrested for presenting a false ID to law enforcement.

2:12 a.m. — Police in Sutherland Hall arrested student Christopher Carosi, of Beaver Falls, Pa., for possession of a small amount of marijuana.

3:26 a.m. — A person reported having verbal contact with a stranger near the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Desoto Street. Officers checked the area and did not find the person.

Sunday, Feb. 6 1:23 a.m. — Police in Bouquet Gardens, Building G, cited student Michael J. Topper, of Bouquet Gardens, Building D, for underage drinking.

2:05 a.m. — Nonaffiliates Justin M. Vandenend, of Paterson, N.J., and Edward Liu, of Edison, N.J., were cited for disorderly conduct.

2:37 a.m. — A person in Bouquet Gardens, Building G, reported damage to a wall.

3:06 a.m. — Police in Litchfield Tower A cited Sean Morgan, of 3487 Ema Jo Dr., for public intoxication.

6:03 a.m. — Student Matthew P. Stevens, of 207 Tower B, was cited for underage drinking.

2:10 p.m. — A person came to the station with information about a possible suspect in the recent robberies around Oakland. An investigation is pending.

10:21 p.m. — An unknown person set a chair on fire outside Bouquet Gardens, Building C.

11:56 p.m. — A man in Tower A reported that he ordered an item on the Internet, but that he never received the item. An investigation is pending.

Monday, Feb. 7

8:31 a.m. — A person reported a broken computer monitor in the parking lot by Benedum Hall. Officers notified Health and Safety crews for cleanup.

11:09 a.m. — A person reported having been struck by a car near the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Bouquet Street.

1:05 p.m. — A person reported the theft of her wallet in Shadyside.

3:33 p.m. — A person in Pennsylvania Hall reported a sexual assault. An investigation is pending.

5:08 p.m. — A knife was confiscated from a visitor in Pennsylvania Hall. The man will pick it up when he leaves campus, and it was placed in recovered property.

5:27 p.m. — An officer found a computer on the Posvar Hall patio. The computer’s owner came to the station and claimed it.

7:42 p.m. — A man in the Old Cemetery parking lot reported a fluid dripping on his car from the upper deck.

Tuesday, Feb. 8

12:01 a.m. — Officers assisted city police with arresting a suspect in several robberies. The arrest was made near the intersection of Halket and Coltart streets.
