11:07 p.m. — A staff member at the Football Training Facility accidentally activated the intrusion alarm. The incident was cleared.

Saturday, January 29

12:10 a.m. — Students Megan Louise Price, of Harrisburg, Pa., and Matthew J Lavan, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., were issued a citation for underage drinking at the corner of Aliquippa Street and University Drive.

12:28 a.m. — Students Alicia B. Normand, of Mechanicsburg, Pa., and Andrea L. Skinner, of West Chester, Pa., were cited for underage drinking at the Pi Kappa Alpha house.

12:59 a.m. — Student Michael Robert Williams, of Sinking Spring, Pa., was issued an underage drinking citation in the Phi Kappa Theta parking lot.

1:43 a.m. — A fight broke out at a dance in the William Pitt Union. However, no citations were issued because the fisticuff participants could not be identified.

1:48 a.m. — Student Michael Kurelja, of Mifflinburg, Pa., was cited for underage drinking in Litchfield Tower A.

2:17 a.m. — Student Emily Broich, of 506 Holland Hall South, was cited for underage drinking in Holland Hall.

2:27 a.m. — A Pitt police officer found a wallet on the 300 block of Bouquet Street.

2:59 p.m. — A student in Sutherland Hall reported receiving harassing communications from a known person. The investigation is still pending.

4:10 p.m. — A fire alarm in Posvar Hall was falsely triggered by oil leaking from an elevator motor. The incident was cleared.

7:33 p.m. — A Pitt police officer was given an ID card holder with several forms of identification. The item is being held along with other property recovered by the police.

Sunday, January 30

1:41 a.m. — Two non-affiliates, Evan James Easton, of 2316 Rochester Road, and James Joseph Stametelos, of Zelienople, Pa., were cited for underage drinking on the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue.

2:03 a.m. — Student Anna L. Frasier, of 710 Amos Hall, was cited for underage drinking in Building E of Bouquet Gardens.

2:16 a.m. — Students Trevor Hughes Bamford, of Bethel Park, Pa., and Kristyn Mari Rautenbach, of Clarks Summit, Pa., and non-affiliates Ryan James Duffy, of Newtown, Pa., and Timothy David Klinker, of Bethel Park, Pa., were cited for underage drinking on the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue.

2:25 a.m. — Students Christopher J. Hughes, of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and Timothy James Dolan, of Somerset, Pa., along with an unnamed juvenile, were cited for disorderly conduct in the Cathedral of Learning.

3:05 a.m. — Pitt police found a can containing donation money in the Union. The item is being held along with other property recovered by the police.

4:04 a.m. — Nonaffiliate Eric W. Mills, of Lancaster, Pa., was cited for underage drinking in the Towers Lobby.

5:04 p.m. — A smoke detector on the first floor of the Delta Tau Delta house was activated. The incident was cleared after being checked by the Pittsburgh Fire Department.

11:46 p.m. — A custodian in the Chevron Science Center reported smelling natural gas. An engineer shut off the gas lines to the building, and the incident was cleared.

Monday, January 31

9:28 a.m. — A contractor in the parking lot of Langley Hall reported the theft of construction equipment. The investigation is pending.
