It is sad that many people are so easily suggestible that they form their opinions and then close their minds without ever learning about the real issues or using reason to come to their conclusions. It seems that often these people hold strong to their views even though they are unable to articulate or defend them.
Furthermore, it is apparent through Darling’s intelligent writing and observations that he wants to be taken seriously as a contributor to The Pitt News. I hope that other staff writers will follow his example and choose to tackle relevant issues that we use to form our opinions and world views.
Sincerely,
