A very polite response to Liz Kelly

I recently read “Emily Post’s very polite guide to rounding third base.” And I could not help… I recently read “Emily Post’s very polite guide to rounding third base.” And I could not help but think how it is possible that a person can write an article so blatantly promoting promiscuity. I know that my belief that sex should wait ’til marriage is not shared with many other students on campus.

But I would have to hope that people would not want something that, I think, basically belongs in a pornographic magazine. It made me wonder how my parents would react, or anyone’s parents for that matter, if they read that same article. I guess that my expectations are just too high. And maybe it is not possible for everyone to keep it in their pants. But I know that it is not impossible.
