Ryan Allen, was going through freshman orientation. I picked up a copy of The Pitt News and noticed the “Drink Specials” section, and the story of your struggle with the paid-advertising issue and your loss of revenues. Bob Allen

Wescosville, PA Illegal aliens and a flood of foreign students taking public money to study while Americans are kept off campus — not reported.

Illegal drugs — not reported.

Illicit sex — not reported.

Poor grades — not reported.

Millions flooding into a bloated and unnecessary sports program — not reported.

Why not advertise the local bars in the school newspaper? It’s not reporting about anything of merit, anyway.

Sincerely,
