-1:19 p.m. – A person in Posvar Hall reported the theft of computer equipment.

-5:03 p.m. – An officer confiscated an expired student ID from a former student who had attempted to enter Bellefield Hall.

-7:19 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a report of a lost wallet at the McDonalds on the 3700 block of Forbes Avenue.

-8:05 p.m. – An officer in Trees Hall reported finding the glass on a vending machine broken. The vending company was notified.

Saturday, Jan. 31

-12:59 a.m. – In Litchfield Tower A, police cited Kristen Woodward, of Tabernacle, N.J., for underage drinking.

-1:02 a.m. – Police cited Michael M. Confair, of 318 Lothrop Hall, for public drunkenness.

-1:13 a.m. -Police cited Casey Sutton, of 1622 Tower C, for underage drinking in the Towers.

-1:37 a.m. – Police cited Robert Klosowski, of 216 Sutherland West Hall, for underage drinking in Sutherland Hall.

-1:51 a.m. – Police cited Matthew Smith, of 1412 Tower A, for underage drinking in Tower A.

-2:05 a.m. – Police cited Nathaniel Ameris, of 719 Tower B, for underage drinking.

-2:46 a.m. – In Tower B, police cited Janani Prabhakar, of 2106 Tower B, for underage drinking.

-2:50 a.m. – Police cited Matthew L. Keith, of Washington, Pa., for underage drinking in Bouquet Gardens Building B.

-3:01 a.m. – Someone discharging a fire extinguisher caused a fire alarm in Bouquet Gardens Building A to activate.

-3:19 a.m. – Police cited James Schiela, of 3855 Willow Ave., for an open container violation.

-3:55 a.m. – A woman in the Towers reporting slipping on the wet floor and hurting her knee. She declined medical assistance.

-11:59 a.m. – An employee in Sennott Square activated an alarm because of suspected retail theft suspects. The juveniles were asked to leave the store. The incident was cleared.

-3:44 p.m. – A student in Tower B reported that personal items were taken from her room. An investigation is pending.

-6:36 p.m. – A man in Sutherland Hall reported that an unknown individual was harassing him on the telephone. An investigation is pending.

-8 p.m. – Police cited nonaffiliate Tyrone Mickens, of 10-12 East Avenue North, for defiant trespass.

Sunday, Feb. 1

-12:42 a.m. – Police cited Audrey Campbell, of Glenndale, Md., for underage drinking.

-2:25 a.m. – Police confiscated marijuana paraphernalia from the Phi Kappa Theta house. Judicial Board papers will also be filed.

-7:58 a.m. – A woman contacted the police regarding the well-being of her roommate who had not returned to New Kensington.

-2:58 p.m. – A broken pipe in the first floor mechanical room in Bouquet Gardens Building E activated a fire alarm.

-3 p.m. – A hot water pipe burst in room 402 of Salk Hall, causing a fire alarm to activate.

-4:32 p.m. – A fire alarm in Chevron Science Center was activated by a broken sprinkler head located in the loading dock area.

-9:51 p.m. – Police cited nonaffiliate Karey Reeg, of 800 Wible Run Rd., for public intoxication near UPMC.

Monday, Feb. 2

-3:31 a.m. – Police cited James Forosisky, of 1801 Tower A, for public intoxication at Sutherland Hall.

-10:27 a.m. – Officers assisted city police with a reported theft of a wallet at a party on Melwood Street.

-1:59 p.m. – A frozen sprinkler line activated a fire alarm in the Litchfield Towers.

-3:31 p.m. – A complainant in Tower B reported being harassed by another resident. The resident director handled the matter.

-5:44 p.m. – A complainant in Bellefield Hall reported the theft of a camera on Sunday, Feb. 1. An investigation is pending.

Tuesday, Feb. 3

-4:40 a.m. – A custodian in Lawrence Hall reported that a vending machine had had glass broken and some contents removed from it. An investigation is pending.

-5:49 a.m. – Excessive water in the sewer line blew off a manhole cover at Forbes Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard. The city fire department was notified.

-2:51 p.m. – A representative from the Book Center reported that a man had stolen a book and left the store. An investigation is pending.

-3:56 p.m. – A delivery truck backed into several parked vehicles near Salk Hall. An officer assisted with the exchange of information.

Wednesday, Feb. 4

-7:21 a.m. – A person in the Cathedral of Learning reported the attempted theft of a computer monitor.

-8:11 p.m. – A woman in Tower A reported that her laptop computer and two of her textbooks had been stolen.
