-10:25 a.m. – A person reported that his Pitt ID was stolen when his car was stolen off campus. City police took the original report. The incident was cleared.
-11:23 a.m. – A person in Centre Plaza Apartments reported that her oven was on fire. The city fire department was notified and responded.
-12:39 p.m. – A person reported being harassed by juveniles near the Petersen Events Center.
-2:15 p.m. – Someone reported the theft of money from his car and that the car’s side window was broken.
-3:19 p.m. – A person reported damage to the window of her vehicle and the theft of money from the car located at the University Drive parking lot.
-3:21 p.m. – Someone reported the theft of books and a calculator in Litchfield Tower A. An investigation is pending.
-4:52 p.m. – An officer received a Pitt ID confiscated from a terminated employee of Presbyterian Hospital security.
-9:43 p.m. – A person in the Petersen Events Center reported the theft of her wallet.
Tuesday, Jan. 13
-1:24 a.m. – A person in Holland Hall reported receiving a harassing phone call.
-7 a.m. – Officers assisted city police with a pedestrian/vehicle accident at Bigelow Boulevard and O’Hara Street.
-2:24 p.m. – A person turned in a lunch bag containing medications to police. The owner was contacted and claimed the items at the police station.
-2:54 p.m. – Electricians working on a malfunction in the Petersen Events Center activated a fire alarm.
-3:30 p.m. – A malfunction activated a fire alarm in the Falk School. An engineer was notified, and the incident was cleared.
-3:51 p.m. – The parking office reported the theft of a vehicle boot from the Physicians Lot. An investigation is pending.
-4:34 p.m. – A person reported that her vehicle was broken into near the Falk School and that her purse was taken.
-7:37 p.m. – An officer confiscated a small amount of marijuana from two students in the Litchfield Towers lobby. Judicial board referrals were made.
-8:51 p.m. – A person reported the theft of his wallet from his Graduate School of Public Health office.
Wednesday, Jan. 14
-9:50 a.m. – An officer recovered a small black dog running loose on the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue. The officer turned the dog over to animal control. Incident clear.
-11:28 a.m. – Police received a report of a man waving a knife at Forbes Avenue and Bouquet Street. The man was gone when officers arrived. Officers checked the area and could not locate a suspect.
-1:22 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a report of a stolen Pitt ID at Hemingway’s Cafe on the 3900 block of Forbes Avenue.
-3:37 p.m. – A person in Litchfield Tower C reported the theft of his wallet.
-3:53 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a reported man with a gun on the 3300 block of Dawson Street.
-6:36 p.m. – A woman reported that her wallet was taken from the William Pitt Union.
-11:08 p.m. – A person reported the unauthorized use of his credit card. An investigation is pending.
Thursday, Jan. 15
