The ESPN College GameDay crew will make its first appearance at Pitt before the Panthers’ home game against Virginia Tech on Nov. 8. The pregame show runs from 10:30 a.m. until noon and has reports throughout the day, capped off by an appearance on the 11 p.m. edition of SportsCenter.
The show will presumably be shot on the southern side of Heinz Field, in front of the Panther statue.
The game will showcase two of the top five frontrunners for the Heisman Trophy, with Pitt wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and Virginia Tech running back Kevin Jones both playing. Fitzgerald enters the game with 60 receptions for 1,174 yards and 16 touchdowns, while Jones has 863 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.
