Thursday, Nov. 13

-7:26 a.m. – Wind broke glass on a display case on the exterior… Thursday, Nov. 13

-7:26 a.m. – Wind broke glass on a display case on the exterior of Bellefield Hall. Facilities management was notified.

-7:36 a.m. – Dirt activated the smoke detector in the men’s room of the Cathedral of Learning.

-11:45 a.m. – A person in the William Pitt Union reported being the victim of a theft by deception. An investigation is pending.

-1:53 p.m. – Police cited nonaffiliate Anthony P. Zuchelli, of Homer City, Pa., for disorderly conduct and trespassing near Bellefield Hall.

-2:27 p.m. – A juvenile was arrested for criminal attempted theft in the University Drive parking lot.

-4:52 p.m. – Grounds crew found several milk crates of books in the parking lot at Fifth Avenue and Bouquet Street. The items were put into the recovered property room.

-8:19 p.m. – Police received a report of a suspicious man being near the Graduate School of Public Health about 10 minutes before the call was placed. Officers checked the area, with negative results.

-9:28 p.m. – Someone in the Cathedral of Learning reported the theft of a wallet from her purse.

Friday, Nov. 14

-12:40 a.m. – In Sutherland Hall, police cited students Jack W. Eaton, of Newton Square, Pa., Kathleen M. Mooney, of Wilkes Barre, Pa., and nonaffiliate Christina M. Yankovich, of Wilkes Barre Pa., as well as two juveniles, for drinking underage.

-2:20 a.m. – Luke Brennan, of Somerset, Pa., was cited in Sutherland Hall for drinking underage.

-3 a.m. – In Lothrop Hall, police cited James P. Shields, of Imperial, Pa., for underage drinking.

-9:20 a.m. – An individual was harassing employees at the South Side football training facility complex. An investigation is pending.

-11:39 a.m. – A person reported the theft of his unattended wallet from his book bag in Hillman Library.

-2:50 p.m. – A student reported being harassed by a known individual at an off-campus residence.

-4:16 p.m. – A person attempted to use someone else’s ID to use the Petersen Events Center’s fitness center. A guard confiscated the ID.

-5:11 p.m. – During a traffic stop at Bouquet and Joncaire streets, an officer confiscated a suspended license and registration plate. The driver was also cited.

-9:07 p.m. – Police cited Cheron N. Taylor, of 1021 Lothrop Hall, in the William Pitt Union for buying and drinking alcohol underage.

-9:55 p.m. – Officers responded to a reported fight at the William Pitt Union. The incident was cleared before police arrived. A few individuals were escorted from the premises.

Saturday, Nov. 15

-1:30 a.m. – Police cited Anthony Catania, of 231 S. Highland Ave., for underage drinking, on the 200 block of Bouquet Street.

-2:01 a.m. – An officer responded to a report of an odd odor in the Sigma Chi house. The source seemed to be the generator, which had turned on. An engineer was notified.

-4:44 p.m. – Officers assisted city police with a stolen car report at Robinson and Wadsworth street.

-4:57 p.m. – A person reported that his car window was broken and that the dashboard was damaged while it was on Robinson Street.

-7:11 p.m. – A person reported the theft of personal items from a locked office in Trees Hall. An investigation is pending.

Sunday, Nov. 16

-1:55 a.m. – Officers assisted city police with a large disturbance at Bates and Bouquet streets.

-2:13 a.m. – Police arrested nonaffiliate Michael Deenin, of New Kensington, Pa., for driving under the influence at Forbes Avenue and Atwood Street.

-9:02 p.m. – Police warrant-arrested nonaffiliate Stephanie Lynn Giczi, of Evans City, Pa. The Butler County Sheriff’s Office had issued two warrants for Giczi for bond forfeiture.

-11:16 p.m. – A person reported being harassed by someone in the Centre Plaza Apartments. An investigation is pending.
