8:16 a.m. – An officer removed a security chain from an office door in the Cathedral of Learning.
8:34 a.m. – Pittsburgh Medics transported an injured student from the Field House to the hospital.
10:07 a.m. – A student in Sutherland Hall reported an ongoing problem with his roommate, who he said was harassing him. The incident was cleared.
12:32 p.m. – A man turned in a counterfeit bill that he had received from an Oakland business. The bill will be turned over to the Secret Service.
12:39 p.m. – Someone reported that his backpack was taken from his friend’s car, which had been parked at an off-campus location.
2:05 p.m. – A woman in Brackenridge Hall reported being harassed by her roommate. An investigation is pending.
4:48 p.m. – One car was cited and towed from a posted area on Desoto Street.
7:09 p.m. – Two cars were cited and one was towed from a posted area on Desoto Street.
7:34 p.m. – A man reported that he hit a metal barrier while exiting the parking garage beneath Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Memorial Hall.
8:05 p.m. – Officers assisted city police in responding to an accident report at the intersection of Bigelow Boulevard and Tennyson Avenue.
9:24 p.m. – Police in the William Pitt Union committed the warrant arrest of nonaffiliate Jonathon C. McIntyre, of Evans City, Pa.
10:42 p.m. – Pittsburgh Medics transported an injured person from Lothrop Hall to a hospital.
Tuesday, Oct. 28
1:12 p.m. – A man reported that his wallet was stolen at the Pitt football game on Saturday, Oct. 25.
5:11 p.m. – Officers cited a juvenile for harassment at Trees Hall.
6:40 p.m. – Police at Victoria Hall arrested nonaffiliate Jeff Corteal, of Connellsville, Pa., for the theft of a motor vehicle.
10:59 p.m. – An officer extinguished a burning trashcan on the plaza near Benedum Hall.
Wednesday, Oct. 29
12:22 a.m. – In Bruce Hall, police cited Mark. K. Wruble Jr., of DuBois, Pa., Kyle Edward Shilk, of Ridgeway, Pa., and Andrew B. Turkish, of Plainview, N. Y., for underage drinking.
1:13 a.m. – Officers responded to a reported fight at the intersection of Forbes Avenue and Semple Street. One of the two parties involved had left the scene before the police arrived.
3:56 a.m. – An officer reported that there were drawings in chalk on various lower campus roadways. The incident was cleared.
10:57 a.m. – A woman reported that her University parking permit was taken from her car at the Franklin complex.
10:58 a.m. – Officers recovered a stolen car, which had been found by a parking enforcement officer. The car was towed and city police were notified.
11:44 a.m. – The University police department, at Posvar Hall, received a number of non-threatening letters.
2:26 p.m. – An officer turned in a reduced transit fare card, found at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard.
4:01 p.m. – A woman in Lawrence Hall reported that she was hit by a vehicle at about 11 a.m., but that she was not injured.
4:36 p.m. – Officers received a report of a suspicious person in Blockbuster Video, on the 3800 block of Forbes Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the person.
5:26 p.m. – Officers assisted a confused person at the dental school in Salk Hall.
5:51 p.m. – A guard reported that he had removed a smoldering trash bag from the Petersen Events Center.
6:34 p.m. – Officers arrested nonaffiliate Richard Arthur Mitchell, of 2442 Bedford Avenue, for defiant trespass in Clapp Hall.
9:07 p.m. – Police in Lothrop Hall cited Daniel F. Miller for disorderly conduct.
