At 9:57 a.m., a crosswalk sign on Bigelow Boulevard, between the Cathedral and the William Pitt Union, was reported missing.

Ronald Matthew George, of Greensburg, Pa., was cited at 11:11 p.m. for defiant trespass in McCormick Hall.

Saturday, August 30

At 12:40 a.m., police in Lawrence Hall cited Vanessa Dellecave, of 227 Holland Hall; Maxine Alva, of 312 Holland Hall; and Steven McGrath, of 907 Bruce Hall, for underage drinking.

Kyle Timothy Stevenson, of Conneaut Lake, Pa., was cited for underage drinking at 12:53 a.m., at the Sigma Phi Epsilon house.

At 1:19 a.m., officers cited Ian M. Bazzoli, of Gambier, Ohio, for underage drinking at the Pi Kappa Alpha house.

Officers responded to a report of a verbal dispute at Lothrop Hall at 1:38 a.m. They separated the people involved and escorted one woman to her dorm.

Police performed a warrant arrest on nonaffiliate Robbie Cohen, of 2142 Elmer Square, at 1:55 p.m. at UPMC Presbyterian hospital.

Sunday, August 31

Officers assisted city police, at 12:31 a.m., with the report of a body in Boundary Park.

At 1:04 a.m., Suzanne M. Kratz, of 1812 Tower A, was cited in Tower A for underage drinking.

Officers gave a trespass warning to a person, of no fixed address, who they found trying to enter Posvar Hall at 1:45 a.m.

Andrew Linn, of 1414 Tower B, was cited in Tower B, at 1:53 a.m., for underage drinking.

At 2:34 a.m., police at the intersection of Bigelow Boulevard and Lytton Street cited Joe M., Pasqualichio, of 304 Forbes Craig Apartments, for underage drinking.

Monday, September 1

Police cited Bryan Belser, of 523 Sutherland Hall, and Kenneth V. Janosko, of 420 Forbes Hall, for removing traffic control devices from in front of the Petersen Events Center.

Lauren E. Purcell, of 250 Bouquet Gardens, Building E, was cited in her building at 4:06 a.m., for underage drinking.

At 11:00 a.m., callers from Pi Kappa Alpha requested that police check on the welfare of their friend, a student, who walked away from Cumpie’s bar. The student later returned to his or her residence.

Nonaffiliate Charles Harrison Clayton, of no fixed address, was arrested in the William Pitt Union at 4:33 p.m. for presenting a false ID to officers.

A fire alarm in the Cathedral of Learning was activated at 8:43 p.m. by a trap door falling open.
