-Police received a report at 11:39 a.m. of a suspicious man in… Tuesday, June 24

-Police received a report at 11:39 a.m. of a suspicious man in Thackeray Hall. Officers located the man, gave him a trespass warning and escorted him out of the building.

-At 12:04 p.m., a Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic security officer turned over contraband items for destruction. Officers placed the items in a bin for destruction.

-An accident involving a Pitt Shuttle and a pedestrian on Bigelow Boulevard, between Forbes and Fifth avenues, was reported at 2:25 p.m. The pedestrian was transported to the UPMC Presbyterian emergency room for treatment of a facial injury.

-Nonaffiliate Tracy Brock of McKeesport, Pa. was arrested for defiant trespass in Posvar Hall at 9:03 p.m. Officers transported Brock to the Allegheny County Jail.

-Sewers backed up, causing a flood on the garage floor of the Sennott Square parking garage. Officers received the report at 11:31 p.m. and notified an engineer, who requested that the city Fire Department pump water from the garage.

Wednesday, June 25

-At 2:38 a.m., in front of the Frick Fine Arts building, officers cited nonaffiliate Aaron Bumbarger, of Clearfield, Pa., for disorderly conduct and underage drinking.

Thursday, June 26

-In Scaife Hall at 1:02 p.m., police cited nonaffiliate Marcus Braithwait, of 2705 Broadway St., for retail theft.

Friday, June 27

-Police received a report at 11:07 p.m. of a man assaulting a woman on Himan Place behind Trees Hall. Pitt police assisted city police in handling the domestic violence case.

Saturday, June 28

-Pedestrians flagged down an officer at Bates Street and McKee Place at 12:58 a.m., after a driver struck several parked cars and attempted to flee the scene. Pitt police assisted city police with a driving

-intoxicated arrest.

Sunday, June 29

-Officers assisted city police with crowd control at 3:43 a.m. on Forbes Avenue, near Club Laga.

-An officer performed a suspicious person check after finding someone in a classroom at 8:15 p.m. in Alumni Hall. The officer asked for identification and found the person was a student.

Monday, June 30

-At 12:20 a.m., Pitt police assisted city police with a report of multiple shots fired at Forbes and Oakland avenues.

-Pitt police assisted city police in retrieving a gun found in a doorway at Fifth and Oakland avenues at 9:23 a.m.

Tuesday, July 1

-At 2:17 a.m., Pitt police assisted city police in identifying two men seen in the area of an armed robbery incident. The men were seen in the 400 block of Atwood Street.
