That’s an incredible feat. The trio just released their self-titled debut album on the New York-based independent label Ace Fu Records, and they have already landed gigs with The Walkmen, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and French Kicks.

The Eaves are made up of Jen Adam, Casey Sweten and Quentin Rowan. Adam’s beautiful voice provides for a graceful harmony that floats overtop of an intricate and poppy rhythm section and steady guitar riffs.

Doing something that other New York-based bands don’t has helped The Eaves receive acclaim. The songs on this album are surprisingly beautiful and hauntingly intriguing.

The album is relatively short, made up of only seven songs. These songs last 35 minutes and get better the more you listen to them.

The self-titled debut was also self-produced, as the trio worked out all the kinks the way they wanted to. A U.S. tour is currently in the works for The Eaves, and hopefully their stage show is as intriguing and surprising as their debut release.
