For $1,550, one could purchase about 350 Antoons pizzas, go to about 20 Springstein concerts, or get a few cups of coffee at Starbucks. Yet, Rafael Pages has chosen to fork over that amount for a 40-year old bouquet of George Harrison’s hair, according to CNN.com. Pages, who cuts hair and runs a “hairdresser museum” in Barcelona, was the highest spender at an auction that featured some of Wacko Jacko’s shoes and a stub from a performance of the Who’s rock opera “Tommy.” The auction may or may not have been called “Useless Rock Star Relics that Sorry Suckers Will Actually Buy.”
White Stripes Ready Album, Slip on NY Ice

Elephant, which, according to Pitchforkmedia.com, will be released with six different album covers, is one of the most highly anticipated rock records of the year. Last month their American label, V2, was forced to push forward the album’s release because of an Internet leak.

The MC’s recent screen effort, “Cradle 2 The Grave,” raked in more than $17 million in its opening weekend. Yet, according to Mtv.com, DMX hasn’t been reported to be further pursuing his acting career. Rather, he’s expressed a desire to spend time with family and to brush up on some Biblical literature. We can only hope for a comeback gospel album.
