– An article on Wednesday titled “Snow canceled class, but staff had to report” stated that while students had off from school, Pitt staff members were required to report to work. In comment today, Hill clarified that anyone who was scheduled to report to Pitt was expected to show up for work despite the snow. This included faculty and administrators as well as staff. However, Hill added that faculty who only had a teaching schedule for the day and had no non-teaching obligations would not have to use a personal holiday or a vacation day.
