Police received a report at 8:41 a.m. of the theft of a computer… Monday, Feb. 3

Police received a report at 8:41 a.m. of the theft of a computer and additional computer equipment from an office in Thaw Hall.

Police received a report at 10:46 a.m. that someone in Thaw Hall attempted to enter a secured office.

At 1:52 p.m., there was a suspicious package reported in the mailroom.

In the Cathedral of Learning at 3:24 p.m., someone reported receiving a certified letter that was “very disturbing.”

In Litchfield Tower B at 9:03 p.m., the resident director reported that furniture had been thrown from the 18th floor windows, damaging the lobby roof.

Tuesday, Feb. 4

Nonstudent Dennis Amores, of Long Island, N.Y., was cited for public drunkenness at the Petersen Events Center at 8:41 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 5

At 7:27 a.m., a woman slid into a pole at Forbes Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard because of icy conditions.

In Salk Hall at 9:52 a.m., police received a report of a disorderly woman in the cashier’s office. The woman was gone from the scene when the officers arrived.

A woman in Amos Hall reported at 4:01 p.m. that her ex-boyfriend had been unlawfully using her computer.

A guard in Bouquet Gardens reported that she could smell marijuana on the third floor of the building at 10:19 p.m. The area was checked.

Thursday, Feb. 6

At 1 p.m., theater equipment was reported stolen from the Stephen Foster Memorial.

Police confiscated a knife while assisting the city police with an assault report at 1:33 p.m. on Atwood Street.

In the Petersen Events Center at 4:14 p.m., a football helmet was reported stolen from an office.

There was a report at 5:02 p.m. of water coming from the inside of a building at 7500 Thomas Blvd. An engineer was notified.

In the Cathedral at 10:06 p.m., a woman reported that she was harassed during a class on campus.
