In Litchfield Tower B at 3:49 p.m., a woman called to report that a man was peeping in the shower area while she was inside.

A woman reported that her laundry was taken from the laundry room on the top floor of Holland Hall at 6:50 p.m.

Tuesday, Jan. 28

A wallet with a large amount of cash inside was found in Sutherland Hall at 5:48 a.m. The owner came to the station and claimed the wallet at 7 a.m.

In William Pitt Union at 8:07 a.m., a sprinkler head broke and activated a fire alarm. Water damage was reported.

A man reported at 2:43 p.m. that property was taken from his apartment on Ward Street. Pitt police took the report and referred the case to city police.

A man reported in Sutherland Hall at 9:22 p.m. that he was being harassed by another man.

Wednesday, Jan. 29

In Salk Hall at 11:31 a.m., there was disagreement over a child’s coat. An officer assisted in the resolution.

An officer was flagged down at 2:37 a.m. at Centre and Bigelow streets by a man who appeared to be confused. The officer transported the man back to the North Side.

Thursday, Jan. 30

There was a reported forced entry to a room in Detre Hall of the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic at 7:17 a.m.

An officer stood by while a resident director seized a small amount of a controlled substance at 7:04 p.m. in McCormick Hall. The items were placed in evidence and the resident director will handle the situation.

In Tower A at 7:51 p.m., nonstudent Rashod Aulton, of 2114 Bedford Ave., was arrested for criminal trespass.

Two juveniles were cited for defiant trespass in Posvar Hall at 8:02 p.m. They were released to their parents.

Friday, Jan. 30

At 4:19 p.m. in Presbyterian Hospital, nonstudent Jamonna Smith, 839 Western Ave., was arrested for a small amount of marijuana and an outstanding county warrant for simple assault.

The resident director of Bruce Hall requested police help with the confiscation of drug paraphernalia at 11:37 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 1

Jenna Laughlin, 18, of 402 West Sutherland Hall, was cited for underage drinking in Sutherland at 12:13 a.m.

In Sutherland Hall at 2:58 a.m., a desk attendant called the police to report damage to a dryer in the laundry room.

Nonstudent Grahm Belton, of Moscow, Pa., Gregory Becker, of 804 Bruce Hall, and Jared Kusiak, of 805 Bruce Hall, were cited for disorderly conduct at Sigma Alpha Epsilon at 3:55 a.m.

Jared Kusiak, of 805 Bruce Hall, was cited for disorderly conduct at 4:35 a.m. in Sutherland Hall.

At 5:46 p.m., Pitt police assisted city police with a person who was robbed at knifepoint Saturday morning in the 3400 block of Forbes Avenue.

A man reported at 10:33 p.m. in Towers Lobby that Towers Garage ceiling had leaked a substance onto his car.

Sunday, Feb. 2

The smell of marijuana was reported in Bouquet Gardens at 12:36 a.m.

Juliet Mariotti, 20, of Glenshaw, Pa., Diana Rhodes, 20, Harrisburg, Pa., and Matt Balco, 20, of Aliquippa, Pa., were cited for underage drinking in Bouquet Gardens at 12:57 a.m.

Nonstudent Ashleigh Snarey, 18, of Moon Township, Pa., was cited for underage drinking at 1:26 a.m. No location was given.

In Lothrop Hall at 1:55 a.m., Richard Fowkes, 19, of Verona Pa., was cited for underage drinking.

Andrew Horan, 18, of 5032 McCormick Hall, was cited for underage drinking in Towers Lobby at 2:10 a.m.

Nonstudent Joseph Constantine, of Jeanette, Pa., was cited on the 4200 block of Forbes Avenue at 2:32 a.m. for driving under the influence.

In the Music Building at 4:31 p.m., an engineer reported that contractors were working and had left a ditch. An officer placed cones around the ditch to warn drivers.

In Parran Hall at 4:44 p.m., police responded to an alarm that had been continuously going off for two days in Room 127. Officers checked the room and found it to be secure.

A resident director in Lothrop Hall reported at 10:15 p.m., after he checked on a complaint about the smell of marijuana coming from a room, he confiscated a small amount of the substance was found and confiscated.
