At 12:45 a.m., Pitt police were contacted by a student who reported that he had been attacked while walking near the corner of Darragh and Terrace streets.
According to the police report, the student was walking down the street when a red Chrysler vehicle pulled up behind him. The student reported that when the car stopped, three men exited the vehicle and punched him in the back of the head.
The three men, who were described in the report as black and between the ages of 18 and 20, proceeded to take the victim’s wallet, keys, jacket and book bag. The men then returned to the vehicle and left the scene.
Pitt police searched the area, but were unable to find anything.
