Another WYEP-sponsored show at Club Cafe brings the powerful and beautiful voice of singer/songwriter Shannon McNally, who has taken to the road for a solo acoustic tour. With her angelic voice, she sings straightforward, meaningful lyrics and plucks away at her acoustic guitar.
With a powerful and belting folk sound, McNally approaches each song with a unique style that is hard to find from current up-and-coming musicians. Most artists have a sound similar to someone else, but not McNally. Her sound is her own, and it is one of the most beautiful sounds anyone could ever have the pleasure of hearing.
After her stretch of touring, McNally will record her second full-length album.
Her first full-length album is called Jukebox Sparrows and she has also recorded an acoustic album with fellow singer/songwriter Neal Casal, one of the guitarists in her touring band.
For this intimate show space at Club Cafe, nothing beats a beautiful voice and a guitar, and McNally is armed with both.
