In The Pitt News article about the fight, Pitt police Chief Tim Delaney stated he was unaware of a person named Khalif Rhodes, whom witnesses had said was a Pennsylvania State University-Erie student arrested that night.
In the Pitt police media log, printed in The Pitt News police blotter Oct. 23, Rhodes is identified as being arrested for disorderly conduct at 3:55 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19.
Also on Oct. 23, The Pitt News blotter reported that Corey Raynard Alston, a Pitt student, was cited for underage drinking during the fight. According to Vice Chancellor for Public Affairs Robert Hill, Alston was, in fact, cited for disorderly conduct.
Hill said the error was probably clerical in nature.
