Electronic fans unite, for tonight, Club Laga will bring one of the nation’s best electronic acts: DJ Shadow. With his eclectic and artistic drum ‘n’ bass sound, he remains one of the top billing acts in the nation.

DJ Shadow’s amalgamation of electronic drum ‘n’ bass, combined with hip-hop and breakbeats makes him notorious for his amazing talent behind the tables. With his newest release, The Private Press, Shadow puts out some of his most mature work to date, combining all of the above elements and more.

Ever since Club Laga removed its Friday Night Groove sessions, Metropol has picked up the slack. But, finally, an electronic show is accessible without a trek to the Strip District. This show comes at a bit of a hefty price to college students, but it’s more than worth it, because this show is among the last slew of performances Shadow commits to before calling it a year. He plans to tour Australia and parts of Europe following his stops along the East Coast.

With a powerful record to push his live show, along with supporting act, The Odd Jobs, DJ Shadow’s show goes to prove that it’s OK to party late any night of the week, especially tonight.
