All ages

Mix the Arizona desert sun and a skate park attitude, and stir it together to create a blend of laid-back grooves and thrashing punk riffs. The final product – Arizona punk rockers Authority Zero, playing as a part of the Punk-O-Rama tour that is coming to Club Laga Monday for an all ages show.

Authority Zero, formed in 1994, released its first CD in 1999, followed by its second release, Patches in Time, in 2000. Now with the September release of its third album, A Passage in Time, Authority Zero gets set to rock and thrash Pittsburgh as well as the rest of the East Coast.

With a sound that resembles a mix of every kind of punk sound possible, as well as a sound that is similar to Sublime and an attitude similar to that of the Sex Pistols, Authority Zero will create a raucous atmosphere.

Thrashers Guttermouth will join Authority Zero. With a new release in stores in August, Guttermouth will send the crowd into overdrive with its wild stage show. The band 1208, of Southern California’s South Bay, will join the tour to promote its new album, Feedback is Payback. Wrapping up the list of bands involved are the Vancouver punks Gob, with a new album titled F.U. released Oct. 8.

With an intense show definitely in store with this set of bands, the audience can be sure it will be thrashing all night long.
