• In the Litchfield Towers lobby at 6:38 p.m., a woman reported being harassed by a woman she knows. The officer spoke to the woman being harassed, then located the harassing woman on Forbes Avenue. The officer advised the woman that she was not permitted on University property. She left the area without incident.

Saturday, Sept. 7

• An officer on Oakland Avenue issued an underage drinking citation at 12:35 a.m. to 20-year-old Heather M. Brown, of 406 N. Craig St.

• At 12:58 a.m. on Sutherland Drive near the Petersen Events Center, nonstudent Michael Allen Johnston, of 1728 Chrislett St., was arrested for disorderly conduct, open lewdness and possession of drugs.

• Nonstudent Kevin Forney, of 1345 Vickroy St., was cited for an open container violation on Semple Street at 1:17 a.m.

• Officers cited 20-year-old Jonathan Grills, of 615 Forbes Hall, and 19-year-old Thomas Schroeder, of 3812 Bates St., for underage drinking at Bouquet Gardens at 1:22 a.m.

• At 1:37 a.m. in Sutherland Hall, 18-year-old Eric Roos, of 412 West Sutherland Hall, was cited for underage drinking.

• In Sutherland Hall at 1:51 a.m., a man reported that his girlfriend called him and was very upset. He requested that an officer check on her welfare. The officer spoke to the woman who stated that everything was OK.

• Officers cited 19-year-old Travis James Will, of 301 Forbes Hall, and 19-year-old Benjamin Denk, of 905 Brackenridge Hall, for underage drinking in the Forbes Hall pavilion at 2:39 a.m.

• At 2:57 a.m. near Sennott Square, nonstudent Luke D. Forrest, 20, of Sharpsville, Pa., was cited for underage drinking.

• Tyler P. Kimball, 20, of 222 N. Craig St., and Afolabi O. Oyelowo, 19, of 60 Bates St., were cited for underage drinking at 3:30 a.m. at South Bouquet Street and Clemente Drive.

• Police arrested Jason N. Froehlich, of 3601 Dawson St., for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness at Fifth and Bellefield avenues at 3:51 a.m.

• At Heniz Field at 10:50 a.m., a woman was injured when a sign fell and struck her on the back of the neck. Paramedics transported the woman to Allegheny General Hospital.

• A woman reported at 1:56 p.m. that she lost her diamond bracelet while at a football game at Heinz Field.

Sunday, Sept. 8

• At 1:46 a.m., nonstudent Jared Ian Bond, 20, of Chambersburg, Pa., was arrested for driving while intoxicated, underage drinking and possession of a small amount of marijuana as a result of a traffic stop.

• David R. Switalski, 18, of 817-2 Tower B, was cited for underage drinking at Fifth Avenue and Bouquet Street at 2:08 a.m.

• Officers cited nonstudent Jerry Loman Miller III, 20, of Chambersburg, Pa., for underage drinking on Lothrop Street at 3:16 a.m.

Monday, Sept. 9

• At 5:44 a.m., an officer reported assisting city police with the investigation of a possible sexual assault that happened at a residence on Ward Street during the morning of Sept 7. City police took the report.

Tuesday, Sept. 10

• At the Cathedral of Learning at 9:58 a.m., police found a dead bird on the fourth floor roof. An officer transported the bird to the Allegheny County Health Department.

• Nonstudent Tayeb Khelifa, of 5700 Ellsworth Ave., was cited for public drunkenness on Forbes Avenue at 9:52 p.m.
