Students go up and down for kids charity

It takes one teeter-totter, a handful of local sponsors and innumerable cups of hot chocolate… It takes one teeter-totter, a handful of local sponsors and innumerable cups of hot chocolate to send Lambda Chi Alpha and Sigma Sigma Sigma back to their respective childhoods. But this time, they are riding playground equipment with a mission. Their Teeter-Totter Marathon commenced at 11 a.m. Wednesday and will continue nonstop until this afternoon, with the hopes of raising money for Big Brother and Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh.

Perched on the teeter-totter, which resembles a normal seesaw with a glandular condition, Lambda brother Ryan Dulaney called to his fellow teeter-totterer. They hover several feet above the ground, neither heavy enough to force the other down. Swinging his legs through the air, Dulaney yelled,
