BAS Inauguration

Deshaun Sewell, the new president of Black Action Society, and Cynthia Gordy, the new vice… Deshaun Sewell, the new president of Black Action Society, and Cynthia Gordy, the new vice president, both delivered speeches at the BAS inauguration Thursday. The event, held in the Kurtzman Room of the William Pitt Union, also featured concluding remarks by Vice Provost and Interim Dean of Students Jack Daniel and a keynote address by Pitt assistant professor of Africana Studies by Troy D. Allen.
