Some shows should probably only be attended by people who are really into the bands playing. Perhaps their sound appeals only to a certain type. Or maybe they are great performers, but that is only apparent to those with a discerning ear for their style of music.

But some other shows can and should be attended by everyone because of the sheer fun of it all. Even if you have never heard of Les Savy Fav or heard their critically acclaimed album Go Forth, a live performance of theirs is worth experiencing.
