Wrestling places fourth in EWL championships

The Pittsburgh Panther wrestlers finished in fourth place out of eight schools in the Eastern… The Pittsburgh Panther wrestlers finished in fourth place out of eight schools in the Eastern Wrestling League Championships last weekend at Lock Haven. Though Pittsburgh was unable to win a team championship, they did manage nine top-five finishers in their individual weight classes.

Among those nine, six of them will advance to the NCAA Championships March 21-23 in Albany, N.Y.

Heavyweight Jacob Lininger will lead the way to Albany after finishing in second place. Lininger started his journey with a first round pin on Bloomsburg University
