Saturday afternoon, it bid farewell to seniors Raya Mullin, Rebecca Singleton and Colleen Crisi as they were competing in their final home meet of the season.
In addition to waving goodbye to the trio of seniors, the Panthers were also blowing a goodbye kiss to Trees Hall, as they were competing there for the final time. They will be moving permanently into Fitzgerald Field House next season.
Pitt responded to all of this by posting a 194.275, its seventh best score in its 26-year history.
Unfortunately, Bowling Green crashed the going away party. Led by all-arounders Marny Oestreng and Ann Marie Kassouf, the Falcons landed a score of 194.925, as they defeated Pitt and improved their record to an impressive 16-1.
The Panthers attained their score without the services of Raya Mullin, who missed the first meet of her collegiate career. The senior, who has the highest team average on the uneven parallel bars, fractured her elbow while working on a bars routine and will be out for the remainder of the season.
Head coach Debbie Yohman was impressed with how her team responded without its senior leader.
