After starting the season 1-5, Pitt football won four consecutive games to even its record at 5-5 after it beat West Virginia, 23-17.

Now Pitt stands one win away from becoming bowl eligible, and most likely earning a spot in the Tangerine Bowl.

On a warm and breezy day at Mountaineer Field Saturday, the Backyard Brawl was all that it was cracked up to be. There was trash talking in the stands and on the field, hard hits and lots of eye-opening plays.
