The Irish are frequently stereotyped as drunk, fun-loving folks who speak with thick brogues, wear green every day and jabber incessantly about all topics imaginable. Six years ago, when my family and I took our first trip to Ireland, we discovered that its beautiful terrain has plenty more to offer than just potatoes, alcohol and short men with funny ears guarding huge pots of gold.
