Protestors refuse to believe now is a time for war

The Vietnam Era presented a stage on which the American student body cemented its wartime… The Vietnam Era presented a stage on which the American student body cemented its wartime role into the public mind. That role is defined by protest, dissidence and outright defiance of anything less than absolute peace.

This determined stand may look good on paper and may fuel an interesting pot-induced conversation, but it is an unproductive position that is easily ignored when considered with reference to our current situation.
