The Panthers (3-5) ended their preseason schedule on a positive note after going winless at the Michigan Pepsi Challenge 10 days ago.

Robert Morris boasted a 6-2 record coming in, but a long layoff because of the tragic events of last week gave Pitt plenty of time to prepare for the Colonials, who have never defeated Pitt.
