Always beware of fuzzy, orange mascots

I had surgery on my foot the first week in May and had a non-walking cast up to my knee for six weeks. During this time I did a lot of vegging on the sofa while I watched the Devils destroy one opponent after another before they destroyed themselves. I wore my home jersey when they played at home and my road one when they played on the road. I was convinced that if I wore my Petr Sykora jersey, he would get the game-winning goal.

I had my friend (who happens to be an art major) draw a big Devils logo on my cast. It was pretty cool and I certainly got a lot of attention
