Correction

In the July 25 edition of The Pitt News, the staff editorial, “Crime-free Panthers:… In the July 25 edition of The Pitt News, the staff editorial, “Crime-free Panthers: endangered?” incorrectly reported none of Pitt’s football or basketball players had attained a QPA greater than 3.0. In January, a Big East conference-high 10 football players were named to the All-Academic team. Two basketball players and 40 football players achieved QPAs greater than 3.0.

The Pitt News regrets the error.
