Mi Ranchito able to reopen after paying alcoholic beverage tax

Mi Ranchito, a Mexican bar and restaurant on Atwood Street, can reopen after paying its alcoholic beverage tax, according to Allegheny County deputy treasurer Kevin J. Fischer.

The tax was paid in the amount of $7,477.34 to the Allegheny County Treasurer’s Office.

The Treasurer’s Office padlocked the restaurant last Friday after owners failed to pay the alcoholic beverage tax.

Representatives from Mi Ranchito declined to comment on the situation.
