Pitt basketball’s Midnight Madness event will have Panther fans seeing black and yellow.
The University announced Pittsburgh native and Grammy-nominated rapper Wiz Khalifa will perform at the event, dubbed #ZooAfterHours, Friday evening.
Khalifa joins a guest list that also includes former Duke All-American point guard and current ESPN analyst Jay Williams, who will host the event.
Pitt also announced former Pitt basketball stars Brianna Kiesel, Carl Krauser, Shayla Scott and Tray Woodall will captain three-person teams for a “shooting stars challenge.” Each will captain a team with themselves and a member of both the men’s and women’s basketball teams.
The event will take place at the Petersen Events Center. Doors will open at 10 p.m., and is expected to begin at 11 p.m. Admission is free.
