Female cyclist dead after Forbes incident

A female cyclist has died after being hit by a car near the Cathedral of Learning this evening.

Police were called to the intersection of Forbes Avenue and South Bellefield at 4:57 p.m.

No word on the the cause of the incident or the victim’s identity.
