Police issue crime alert for indecent exposure incident

Pitt police are investigating an unknown man who exposed himself to a woman in Oakland Wednesday evening.

According to a Pitt police crime alert, a woman reported to police that a man of Middle Eastern descent exposed himself to her at about 7:15 p.m. inside a laundromat on the 400 block of Semple Street.

The woman told police the man was approximately 5-feet-10-inches tall and was wearing a grey beanie hat, a dark colored zip-up hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans with a woven canvas green and khaki-colored belt and dark tennis shoes, according to the alert.

Police ask anyone with information to call them at 412-624-2121 and reference report #16-00318.
