The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra performs Camille Saint-Saens’ “Carnival of the Animals,” in which each movement represents a different animal. To visualize the images created by the music, Toonseum artist Joe Wos will illustrate each animal.

Grammy-award-winning guitarist Gary Clark Jr. makes his way to Mr. Small’s Theatre in Millvale, Pa., Clark recently played the national anthem on his guitar at the NBA All-Star Game and is just beginning his tour, which runs through June.

July Talk

While July Talk’s instrumentation is unadorned modern rock at its finest, it’s the jarring vocals that make the Toronto-based rockers stand out. Featuring a duet of lullaby vocals from Leah Fay and the growling, Tom Waits-inspired sound of Peter Dreimanis, the show seems like a can’t-miss.
