Pitt evacuates four dorms, Cathedral of Learning after Saturday threats

Pitt has evacuated four dormitories after the latest round of bomb threats.

An Emergency… Pitt has evacuated four dormitories after the latest round of bomb threats.

An Emergency Notification Service alert sent at about 8:50 advised everyone in the Cathedral of Learning, Litchfield Towers and Forbes, Sutherland and Holland halls to evacuate.

This brings the total number of threats for the semester to 36. Pitt received bomb threats and evacuated the Music Building and Frick Fine Arts earlier Saturday. Those buildings will reopen Monday morning.
