Oakland streets closed for Batman filming

Bigelow Boulevard, along with various other streets in Oakland, was closed last night and will… Bigelow Boulevard, along with various other streets in Oakland, was closed last night and will remain closed until August 5 for the filming of the Batman movie, according to the Oakland Transportation Management Association.

Parking restrictions and street closures are taking place all over Oakland and Pittsburgh for four weeks for the filming of the upcoming Warner Brothers movie with the working title “Magnus Rex”.

Dithridge Street from Fifth Ave to Winthrop will be closed until 5 a.m. August 1 and Fifth Ave from Bellefield to Craig will be closed from 5 a.m. on July 30 to 5 a.m. on August 1, according to the Oakland Transportation Management Association.

As of today, Port Authority buses that go through Oakland will likely have a constant delay, due to increased traffic, according to the Port Authority’s web site.
