Panthers on Politics | Politics of Food and Agriculture

“Panthers on Politics” hosts Ruby Scupp and Josie Cantelmo sit down with two Pitt professors, Corey Flynn and Patrick Shirey, to hold a crucial conversation surrounding the politics of food and agriculture and how food insecurity influences our community. 

Throughout the episode, Flynn and Shirey discuss how the federal government influences food and agriculture, including the 2023 Farm Bill and how it influences the agricultural industry. They also discuss the importance of sustainable food systems and how college students can get involved in their communities to fight food insecurity.
